Looking at these pastries I made years ago at pastry school still makes me smile. There’s something about baking that completely pulls me in—no distractions, no worries, just the moment and the ingredients in front of me. I love cooking too, but baking has that little bit of “science” behind it that I can’t get enough of.

One of my teachers was actually the chef from the Casino de Montréal restaurant, which made the experience even more exciting and inspiring. Learning from someone with that level of expertise left a lasting impression on me.

What’s a little funny about me is that I can be really good at certain pastry techniques—like the pastries you see in this picture—but somehow struggle to make a decent pie crust!

Baking has always brought me so much joy, but what I love most is sharing it—there’s something special about knowing that what I make can bring a smile to someone else. I truly believe baking and sharing go hand in hand.

I’m hoping to share a bit of that here. Once my website is up and running, I’ll probably start posting some of my favorite recipes and baking ideas. For now, these few posts are simply helping me set everything up and get ready for what’s to come. 🍰💛
